Ruleset

Our rules

WE ARE NOT STRICT RULE FOLLOWERS AT EGENSE CAMPING. WE BELIEVE IN COMMON SENSE, TOLERANCE, AND CONSIDERATION FOR EACH OTHER, BUT WHEN MANY PEOPLE GATHER IN ONE PLACE, THERE MUST NECESSARILY BE SOME GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW

Remember that it is the regulars who help shape the culture at the site. Be friendly and helpful to your fellow campers, so everyone feels comfortable We wish you all a good season and a pleasant holiday

Rental agreement

An agreement on a permanent camping space is binding. When booking a fixed space as a new regular camper, you pay 500 DKK, which is deducted when the season’s rent is paid at the beginning of the season. If you do not wish to use the reserved space or to move during a rental period, it is not possible to get a refund of the paid amount

The seasonal spot is paid with a reservation fee of 2000 DKK on February 1st and the remaining amount at the start of the season. In case of split payment, half of the remaining amount + 300 DKK is paid at the start of the season and the last half of the remaining amount latest by June 1st. The space cannot be transferred to others, nor can regular campers sublet their space.

Max 1 car per seasonal spot, parked on your own space. No parking on empty spaces. It is possible to purchase a parking space at a favorable price, which can possibly be shared with another camper. Ask at the reception

Children and adults are everywhere. Parking is available in the large area on the east side of Kystvej opposite the campsite

You get a 4-digit code to enter the barrier. The barrier is locked between 11 PM and 7 AM.

Guests of the campers cost 20 DKK per person. Regular campers can buy guest passes for day visitors. The day guest pass is valid for a max of 6 guests per day. Guests must leave the site no later than 11 PM. Overnight guests with regular campers have a special reduced price: 65 DKK per adult and 35 DKK per child (2-14 years)

Dogs are very welcome; however, they must be kept on a leash and must not have noisy or threatening behavior. Remember that other people may be scared of your dog, even if you believe it to be well-behaved and safe. Any droppings should be picked up immediately in a bag, which is closed and placed in the waste container. Always bring a ‘dog bag’, including on the dikes, on the beach, etc., so others do not have to step in droppings. Dogs are not allowed in the toilets or the campsite kitchen

The chemical toilet of the caravan must under no circumstances be emptied into the regular toilets, but only in the bowl in the room designated ‘Chemical toilet’

Cooking in the campsite kitchen is mainly for cabin guests and casual campers

Waste containers are only for household trash, which should be well compressed and put in a closed bag. Bottles and glass are placed in the bottle container. Cans in the can container. Cardboard in the cardboard container. Old chairs, carpets, large boxes, Styrofoam etc., must be taken to the recycling center yourself.

The regular camper keeps their site neat and tidy, mows the lawn, and trims the hedge. We can mow the lawn for you for 50 DKK per time. A lawnmower is available at the shed and a hedge trimmer can be borrowed by request at the reception. Clippings are to be placed in a pile by the shed

All under 15 must be supervised by an adult when swimming in the pool, meaning the adult must be in the pool area; this is a requirement from the police authority

flowers or bushes, lay tiles or erect fences at Danish campsites. Pruning of trees only by agreement with the camp manager

There should be quiet on the site at 11 PM
