What is the price for staying at a campsite? We can answer that question for you here on this page, based on our own prices at Egense Strand Camping.
According to the latest German ADAC survey, camping in Denmark costs an average of 395 DKK per day (2,795 DKK per week) for a family of two adults and two children. Thus, Denmark is the 6th cheapest country in Europe for camping – Sweden takes the 1st place.

At Egense Strand Camping, we have a variety of pricing models to fit most budgets.
For casual campers who book a campsite during the high season, the price for staying on the campsite is 90 DKK per adult and 50 DKK per child over 1 year. In addition, there is a site & environmental fee, depending on the size of the site, ranging from 25 DKK to 85 DKK per night. Altogether, this equates to 365 DKK per night for two adults and two children.
For seasonal campers booking a campsite for an entire season (from 24/3 to 15/9 – 171 days), it costs 9,900 DKK for the whole period. This price covers two adults, two children, a dog, and free access to the bath, pool, and playground. Converted to daily rates, a seasonal camper would pay approximately 58 DKK per day for the site.
At Egense Strand Camping, a typical casual camper site costs 365 DKK per night, while a typical seasonal camper site costs 58 DKK per day. Compared to the ADAC survey’s average of 395 DKK per night, we are on the cheaper side.
